For over 35 years, Vantage Point has been Northwest Arkansas’s only full-service mental health facility with a complete continuum of psychiatric and behavioral health services for children, adults, and seniors. They offer 24/7 free assessments for mental health and addiction.

Services

1. Child Inpatient – (5-11) They offer both a six-month intensive program within our residential services, and a 10-day program for children participating in acute crisis stabilization. Interventions include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

2. Adolescent Inpatient – (12-17) They provide a six-month intensive residential HERO program, and a 10-day program for youth participating in acute crisis stabilization. The HERO (Hope, Empower, Responsibility, Opportunity) program treats young people who have been unable to successfully manage psychiatric and/or behavioral concerns in outpatient settings.

3. Adult Inpatient – (18-55) The Adult Unit at Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive care for men and women whose lives have been impacted by substance abuse, addiction, or mental illness. Typical length of stay is 7-10 days.

4. Senior Inpatient – (55+) Offering age-appropriate care for older adults, which includes medical care, medication management, detoxification, and individual and group therapy. Turning Point can also be an ideal option for older adults who have been struggling with symptoms such as memory loss, disorganized thinking, suicidal thoughts, and hallucinations.

5. Intensive Outpatient Program – (18+) For mental health and substance abuse, the IOP provides comprehensive, personalized care from a team of compassionate professionals, with the goal of providing sustained progress for long-term health and well-being. Allows the individual to work, attend school, or do other activities while attending intensive treatment M-F for 3 hours each day.

6. Adult Substance Abuse Treatment – (18+) High-quality inpatient care for substance use, to help patients achieve stabilization so that they can get on the road to long-term recovery. Treatment for Opiates, Alcohol, and Prescription Drugs is their primary focus.
