- Center for Enrichment – Adult Day Services| Supported Living Services The Center for Enrichment offers person-centered programs designed to give adults with disabilities a variety of enriching experiences while gaining skills that can be implemented in their everyday lives.
Programs include support, training, and education in the areas of creativity, recreation, nutrition, healthy life, work cooperatives, and literacy. - Charting the LifeCourse – The Charting the LifeCourse framework was created by families and individuals with disabilities to help people develop a vision for a good life. It provides tools that allow people to think about what they need to know and do, identify supports, and discover what it takes to live the life they want. By using these tools, individuals and families can articulate their vision and work towards achieving it. The framework also encourages a focus on all areas of life, not just health and safety, such as relationships, employment, and community involvement.
- Children & Family Services – Family Support | Educational Advocacy | Educational Resources | Specialized Foster Care | Supported Living | Autism Services The Children & Family Services Department provides a flexible and individualized system of supports that regards the family unit as the focus. Our goal is to provide assistance and supports which enable children with disabilities to live in their homes and participate in the life of their community.
- Community Living Services – Supported Living | Intake & Referral Support | Resorce Connection | Companionship Homes Until recently, individuals with developmental disabilities could not live within their homes or communities without specialized supports or services often found in institutionalized settings. Built on the foundation of the Direct Support Profession, the Community Living Services program is designed to ensure institutionalization is never the only option.
- Solutions & Opportunities Supports (SOS) Department – ASN’s Solutions & Opportunities Supports (SOS) Department serves as a crucial contact during critical situations. SOS provides immediate access to trained responders who understand the specific needs and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. SOS ensures prompt assistance in emergencies such as housing emergencies, natural disasters, or instances requiring urgent intervention. SOS can connect you with other ASN departments offering specialized support, including sign language interpreters, TTY services, translation supports, housing supports, and equipment supports. SOS ensures equitable access to vital help for both the individual supported by ASN and critical situations involving others in the community, fostering a sense of security and empowerment within the disability community during times of distress.
- Vocational Services – We are a Community Rehabilitation Program dedicated to empowering individuals with various disabilities to thrive in the workforce. Our Vocational Services encompass a range of tailored programs aimed at cultivating employment skills and fostering independence. From transition services that prepare individuals for the workplace, to customized supported employment services that offer ongoing support in job settings along with follow-along services, job placement assistance, trial to work opportunities, and participation in the Ticket to Work Program, we ensure that every individual has the opportunity to explore and succeed in the world of work.
